What is NextRound?
NextRound is a free browser game that tests how well you know the Israeli venture capital ecosystem. Each round hides the name of one Israeli VC fund and puts a countdown on identifying it. It is built for founders, investors and anyone who follows Israeli startups - and it needs no account, no email and no download.
How the Israeli VC Challenge works
A round shows a fund name with most of its letters blanked out. Guessing a letter reveals every position where that letter appears. A wrong letter takes time off the clock. Every run carries Lifelines, each one revealing a single hidden letter at no cost in time or points. Solve a fund and the next one starts; run the clock to zero and the run is over.
How scoring works
A solved fund is worth the whole seconds left on its clock - whatever the clock reads when you solve it is that round's score. Your run total is the sum of every fund you solve. There are no multipliers and no bonus rounds, so the only way up the leaderboard is to recognise more funds, faster.
Full rules, scoring and leaderboard mechanics are on the how to play NextRound page.
